Our poor pond looks like a giant Popsicle. Donnie took a pic of it from the sun room. He said it's too cold to go out there. We have missed almost a full week of school, just from the ice. Even if the main roads are clear, the country roads are just one big sheet of ice, so, no school! The kids love it. Of course it's right in the middle of finals, so now they just have to make up whatever they missed, when schools back on the 5Th of Jan. The 3 days of school that we did have, after Thanksgiving break, I think was enough time for them to get most, if not all of their finals done.
